Bonga Na Gava (BNG) is a SUSO policy and advocacy tool/ platform, which aims to provide  a safe space for youth and communities,  to engage with government policy, laws & regulations. It enables youth to formally present their views on biodiversity protection and climate change,  crucial issues for our future. Through this tool, we aim to amplify youth and communities' voices in government decision-making,  recognising that shaping the future requires active involvement from the onset.

Communities have the power and potential to be the change makers we need in conservation, and with some support, empowerment, amplification and positioning the grassroots conservation could be the greatest asset for safeguarding nature's future and combating climate change.

The Improved Livelihoods, Powered by Conservation campaign is a game changer in the narrative of benefit sharing and dignity and respect for communities, with less talk and more deliberate action to improve livelihoods of communities through deliberate interventions that tackle basic needs as well as social economic empowerment with clear communication to the communities and the world that it is all powered by conservation, hence creating a movement of communities across Kenya and Africa that are dignified to be the greatest guardians of nature as their ancestors were, and as local communities experience the tangible benefits of conservation-driven improvements #ImprovedLivelihoods #PoweredByConservation these communities become allies in the protection of biodiversity which directly aligns with combating climate change, ensuring a sustainable and resilient future for all.
